Hi, my name is Chris Dowd and I’m based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Photography is my passion. I specialise in dance, fashion, fitness as well as personal projects and collaborations.
I’ve photographed most genres from sports, events, corporate headshots, editorials, fashion models, portraits and fine art nudes but my current passion is shooting dancers, fashion and fitness.
For dancers I try to capture moments that reflect the dancers’ story. Although my personal work is shooting dancers on location, I have also shoot dance schools and concerts and I love to collaborate with other artists on concepts and projects including fashion and fitness models.
I love what I do and believe in bringing out the very best in my subjects, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and artists.
